Pellettieri Stone Carvers' Academy offers a wide range of programs for people of all ages and backgrounds.

What is distinctive about our approach is the emphasis on skills with the kind of hand tools that have been used for centuries that enable students to shape stone accurately and with intent.

immersive

4 - 24 Weeks

Available to both aspiring professionals and novices. These customized programs involve a full time commitment and range from 4 weeks to 6 months. The cost for the program depends on the duration and the specific nature of the training to be provided.

Note: Up to this point, participants in immersive programs have been employees of companies or students at schools. In these cases, the organizations have paid for the training. We receive inquiries from individuals from time to time who find us and ask to sign up for an immersive training program. We have not yet tried scheduling an immersive program outside of a work or school engagement, but we would like to. The challenges are basically financial. If you don’t live in New York City, you would need to find housing which can be very expensive. The other costs are the teacher’s time and the material. If we can put together a large group, then these costs go down since they are shared with all the members of the group. So please send us a message using the “Contact Us” feature and let us know how long a program you are looking for and when you are free to do it. New York City is a great place to come to for a stone carving experience because here we have so many incredible, inspiring stone carving achievements from different cultures and time periods.

Friday Evenings

We are currently offering classes on Fridays from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at our Midtown Manhattan workspace.

$175 per session.
All tools and materials provided.
No commitments- just pay for one session at a time. Financial aid is available.

Demonstration / Lectures

In an effort to promote awareness of stone carving especially among children, we take every opportunity to demonstrate in classrooms and other public venues.

We also offer a series of free online videos via YouTube covering basic stone carving fundamentals. You can access them at any time at: www.youtube.com/@PellettieriStoneCarversAcademy
